A. for those entering the 10th grade in September 2008:

You must read The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. We will write about it
the first week back; you will be graded. You must also bring your completed
grammar packet that you received at the end of this school year. If you have

the website (www.freewebs.com/beanfield) where you can check for
discussion boards about your reading for help and extra credit.

B. for those entering the 11th grade in September 2008:

If you are taking Spanish, you must read Don Quixote (in English) by Cervantes. If you are studying French, you will read Les Miserables (also in English) by Hugo. We will write about these books the first week back; your work will be graded. You must also complete your packet on Commas for correction upon return.
