Welcome
to the site of the Whittier Classical Academy, home of The Wolves! Opened
in 1925 as a junior high school, Whittier was chosen to begin the process
of applying for International Baccalaureate School accreditation in 2006.
The initial application was submitted
to I/B
NorthAmerica last year, and most staff received Level 1 training.
On December 14, 2007 Stan Burgoyne, the regional manager of the Middle Years
Programme, informed us that Whittier Classical Academy was granted official
MYP candidate status. Further updates will be seen on this web site.
